a return to me

i sorta miss making stuff...getting my hands dirty with oils and pastels...
i just haven't been feeling inspired lately. been over analyzing what is and isn't. i've gotta return to zero[the beginning-the cipher] commune with the stars for a bit. internalize god. become the conductor of my own enlightenment...beating my mantras on drums to pattern the future. because there will be a time when time will bend on hollow knees vibrating the sanctity of now.

i drew a circle and started a revolution

my children need their mother to be more than ordinary. i need people to stop expecting me to be anything other than me. i'm not an artist, not a poet...i'm just trying my best to speak from my heart...to be honest...in every medium...i'm still learning and growing...

so just be you and you'll be nowhere near ordinary.

the elephant really touches me and makes me smile.

maybe if you do some art with your girls inspiration will come to you.

the elephant makes me smile too...
i made it as a gift for a friend who fancies elephants. there is a blue and green stone held with the wire. blue represents the water sign [that i am] and green the earth sign [that they are]. water to earth gives life.

my sketch book is filled with my daughters hand tracings...she always comes around and tells me to "mommy asia's hand" hahaha
but maybe i'll try something different with them.

I love meeting other creative people. Sometimes you just have blocks you have to work through.

That elephant is definitely the business though. Gotta love the pachyderms...

I totally understand. I'm an artist and my surroundings just haven't left me inspired as of late, but I just keep writing down the ideas that do come to me and try to expound on them.

....I drew a circle and started a revolution is one of the most empowering and honest things I've seen in awhile, that statement is awesome.

You are an Artist!
Sorry! That's the way it goes sometimes! We can't all be practical!
